I'm a big fan of Girl Genius. Their Hugo-award-winning colorist has developed most of an iPad/iPhone game. It's almost done, but needs funding to finish polishing it. They've gone to a pledge system for getting the funding and they're about $700 short of their $8,840 goal, which needs to be reached by March 6th at 5pm.

I gave them $25 for the project, and I'd like to see them make it all the way so if it interests you, visit their kickstarter page to make a pledge.

You pay through your Amazon.com account, and only pay if they reach their goal. Your account will be charged on March 6th.

I've decided that I'd like to discuss Girl Genius comics with somebody. Preferably friends, but if there's a good discussion board out there point me to it and I can read what random strangers have to say if the signal to noise ratio is good.

I'm planning to add a "Girl Genius" filter for those who also follow the comic and want to discuss it, without worrying about adding spoilers to my regular entries or boring my friends who don't follow the comic.

Let me know if you want on to the GG filter.
