Jon and I went to see Superman this afternoon. I like superhero movies, especially in an air-conditioned theater during 98 degree heat.

I don't understand the appeal of handheld camera angles, I hope this fad will pass quickly.

I know that most of the world is enduring scorching heat, but where I live it's supposed to be sunny 72 most of the year with a little bit of 85 in the summer afternoons and one week of 90's in July. I like warm. I don't even feel hot until at least 88 (unless I'm exercising.)

This year it's been freezing all summer. Cold at night and 65-69 during the day. Today was a bit warmer, hitting 69 by noon and topping out at 72 this evening. What's up with that?? Usually we have one last hurrah where the temperature hits the high-90's for a week in late September or October. I wonder what this year will bring for the fall.
