Heart still beating!! Due date June 5th.

beth_leonardThis afternoon we had a second ultrasound appointment, and I am pleased to report that the baby's heart is still beating! Today the baby was big enough to get a due date, which works out to be June 5th, 2007. 6/5/7 isn't a bad birthday, and in Europe that would be 5/6/7 which is certainly sufficiently geeky.
Of course, babies rarely actually come on their due dates, and my doctor informed us that this one is not allowed to come that day because her daughter is graduating from High School that day. She did however promise me that given how the last delivery went, I can do whatever I want in the L&D room, as long as I don't do it on June 5th.
