I planted a tree

Today I planted a Mulberry tree. I garden less than nearly everyone on my friends list except my husband, so for me this was a big step. Many thanks to my in-laws for the use of the tools.

Originally I had planned to try to keep it alive just through this year's silkworm season for the kids to have fresh leaves for our worms daily, but now I've become a little attached to it. I hope it lives longer and grows up to be a big shade tree in our front yard.

Good luck with the tree :) We planted a peach tree at Tortuga a couple of years back. The extend of my gardening is to water it a couple of times/week during the summer ;)
