His Mysterious Ways
Apr. 24th, 2007 04:09 amSometimes there are little miracles in life if you're looking for them. On Easter I posted a story about how Peter threw up all over me that evening. Two days later on Tuesday morning I was very tired from having been up late finishing reviewing the taxes and I needed to pack for our camping trip as quickly as possible because I was already running late. I could not find a single clean bra. Then I rememebered that we'd done an emergency load of laundry on Sunday night and it might still be in the dryer. Sure enough, it was.
If Peter hadn't puked all over me on Sunday, I would have had no clean bras to go camping with on Tuesday. I choose to take this as a sign God is clearly watching out for me.
I need to go to the DMV today (Tuesday) in order to try to figure out how to legally and inexpensively get our old minivan to Fresno to be junked. Thinking about it is keeping me up this morning. Right now I'm praying that I get a clerk who understands my problems and the in's and out's of the system and can help me figure out the best course of action.
