Feeling guilty
Nov. 20th, 2013 09:48 pmI'm feeling guilty because I had a lazy day today. Jon let me sleep in and I slept until almost 10am. Then we were planning to watch a movie at the theater, but the movie we decided on was "Thor 2." We hadn't seen "Thor 1" yet, so we watched that at home instead. Go Amazon Prime!
Then I futzed around the internet when I should have been doing Cub Scout and Girl Scout paperwork. I hate paperwork. I'm almost done, but bugging people to turn in their money and their forms is about the least fun thing I can do with my life. Now I just finished playing piano and I'm blogging just because.
When my life is too busy I don't have these inertia hurdle problems because there's never any time for any fun, but when I'm feeling lazy and it's not due tomorrow I lack the motivation to start. At the end of the day though, I feel guilty for having accomplished exactly nothing all day. Well, I picked the kids up from school and had a karate class with them, and I turned in my Cub Scout Den's popcorn money. But that's still next to nothing.
