Thanks akiko (and by extension kirinn) for the following video:



It moved me to tears, remembering that history unfolding before my eyes, and my own visits to Berlin years later. (Original video here.) The cold-war paradigm of my youth shifted in transforming ways, and now, I can only hope that the current changes in the middle east may transform the terrorism paradigm too.

The world is ever-changing, but some months it changes more than others.
