What's up with Yahoo! Mail?

Yahoo Mail has become much more annoying lately -- suddenly it's started putting line breaks
after
every
word
in
a quoted response to a message. For people using HTML mail readers, this likely doesn't show up, but for anyone using a text reader, it's very annoying. Does anyone have any idea what's happening, who to complain to, or how to tell individuals using Yahoo how to fix it?

I've sent mail to customer service, but if someone knows the secret incantation of exactly who to complain to such that they learn this is a huge problem, I'd appreciate it.

Is this an issue in their classic web client or in the newer Zimbra-based one? You may just want to try out the zimbra-based client, and see if the problem persists.

I've seen it be an issue too. I don't know what the formatting problem is. My solution is to switch to Gmail. :-)

gmail is nice, and I use it as well, but the zimbra-based client is very comparable: it is better in some areas (calendar integration, features, looks), worse in others (it is slightly larger, more fanciful).
