I'd been exercising really regularly until last week, attending Cross Fit classes 2x/week since October with only a few misses. The only class that works for my schedule is at 6:30am however, and that means Jon has to get the kids ready for school in the mornings I go. When he started working full-time, I stopped going to classes. It looks like I last attended January 27th.

I hadn't realized how much the exercise affected me in a positive way.

I don't enjoy exercising (in this format) but I love feeling in shape and the other emotional benefits of exercise, and Crossfit packs a whole lot of exercise into a small wall-clock time. It's the most efficient exercise I can get for my hour. It has only been 13 days since my last class, but the past week I've really noticed a much higher stress level in myself -- minor annoyances are causing a much higher level of emotional reaction from me than they should. I feel like I'm exploding on the inside all the time, barely keeping myself in check, ready to break out.

I have difficulty prioritizing exercise for exercise sake, especially without a class I'm paying to attend, but I absolutely need to do it. Today's WOD (workout of the day) is something I can do at home, so I think I should just go do it. Right after I start the dishwasher and take the trash back around. And blog. And call my mother. And stuff like that...

Edit to add: Did the workout. 19mins 10 seconds. 4 rounds of: 10 pushups, 20 weighted overhead lunges, 30 situps.

Are you interested in fitocracy at all? It's one of those get points for logging workouts things. I can invite you if you want.

I just sent the invitation! In the forum they have sticky posts on how to log workouts like crossfit or p90x, which are copyrighted so they can't just list them in the activities list.

I got an email saying you'd signed up. There are groups/communities and forums, so it's got a social component to it, too. I haven't done much with the groups myself, but they seem to be places to post about your achievements (and get congrats) and your stumbling points (and get support), or just ask questions.

Gee, at least I didn't take much time, as I was running out the door!
