Crossfit in Sunnyvale
Mar. 28th, 2011 10:26 pmI've heard a little about cross fit training from folks on my friends list as well as from my brother, and this April I'm going to give it a try. There's an intro class at Planet Granite in Sunnyvale 7-8am Tuesdays and Thursdays for the month of April and I have signed up. If this is something you'd like to do too, I always love taking classes with friends.
(And if you already do cross fit and have any suggestions for getting started, please do share. I'm a bit intimidated, but I want to learn a form of exercise that gets me a great workout in a short amount of time.)

Date: 2011-03-29 03:31 pm (UTC)I haven't been to CrossFit for a long time, but I do miss it a bit... I feel like I should be taking the intro class again too! If you have questions, feel free to ask me.

Date: 2011-03-31 12:55 am (UTC)note that crossfit will teach you the skills you need to exercise efficiently, but the default crossfit schedule (3 days on, 1 day off) is what I would call "overtraining". 3 days a week is plenty.
