I went out tonight with some former co-workers, and one of them all but offered me a job if I was interested in getting back in the workforce again. He talked about specific skills I had (and probably haven't lost yet), and it sure felt good.
Right now for all it's ups and downs, I'm enjoying being a mom to my children and wife to my husband and mostly at home not working for money (most of the time, my hobby brings in some cash from time to time.) For now I'll keep doing this, but I know where I'll start looking if/when I decide it's time to start looking for work again.

PS. Said former co-worker had just completed two back-to-back 15 hour days... yes parenting is even more time/week most weeks, but that's another reason not to jump back into the workforce if we can afford to stay out.
