Mothers' Day Flowers

For Mothers' Day we went to my in-laws' house for dinner, as we do every Sunday. I had asked earlier if my Mother-in-law wanted us to do anything special for her, and she asked if she could have some of our roses.



I picked a bouquet this afternoon for her. As I was cutting them, I couldn't help but think about my own mom. My mom doesn't like getting phone calls only on Mothers' Day. It's almost a matter of pride with her that we shouldn't feel obligated to call once a year -- she wants a good relationship all the time.

So, for you Mom (helencoleman), no phone call. But I couldn't help myself, I had to share the flowers.

Your flowers were gorgeous and I really enjoyed getting them. For me I agree that the everyday, wonderful relationship is the most important, but I did enjoy your dramatic and beautiful flower arrangement too. It is fun seeing you all on Sundays and any other time it works out to get together. Love, Candy
