Race politics
Mar. 19th, 2008 08:59 pmAs a Republican I'm likely to support McCain in the November elections, but I do think this speech by Obama was quite good. I wish everyone could get beyond race as an issue, but it is there, and maybe by talking about it we could figure out how to overcome it.
If you haven't seen the speech in it's entirety, I highly recommend watching (it's about half an hour). Some of the sound bites I could easily see being taken out of context, but I haven't read the paper yet today to see if they were.
