While looking at steam cleaners at Costco.com I saw this
product.
It's like the vacuum cleaner, only it sweeps and mops the kitchen floor.
Sooo tempting. Sooo frivolous. Could I justify it as a home maintainence expense because it costs less than one call to rodent control? (Luckily we have not had rodents in a long time, but now that Amber is eating cheerios I don't think our luck will hold out much longer.)

Date: 2008-06-23 04:26 pm (UTC)My opinion, from watching them both in action, is that they don't do nearly a good enough job - and get stuck under things like the cabinets all too often, burn up the battery trying to un-stick, and now you have a dirty half-wet floor, instead of just a dirty floor.
The Roomba might work, but the Scooba seems to be a waste of money, IMHO.
