I thought I was going to be receiving a new fridge from Sears to replace our broken one under warranty on Monday. I was incorrect, I'd optimistically convinced myself that August 13th on my calendar would be Monday, not Wednesday.

Unfortunately, it looks like it won't be Wednesday either. They called today and asked to re-schedule the delivery for Friday because they've had delays in processing.

Luckily the person on the phone was nice and when I asked if they could do anything to make up for the inconvenience, because we've been without a working fridge for 6 weeks now, she immediately offered to send me a $50 Sears gift certificate, without even needing to escalate to a manager or anything.

If only I needed to buy something from Sears...

The Sears people have been relatively nice overall, it's in the "as good as can be expected" service category. I'm just tired of living without sufficient fridge and freezer space. I feel like we're going to the grocery store All The Time.
